Tony Gatliff
Tony Gatliff is the host of Military Resource Radio. MRR is a nationally syndicated radio show and podcast, which specializes in helping put veterans and active duty service members in homes and saving veterans and active duty service members their hard earned money by educating and protecting veterans and active duty service members regarding mortgage options and the mortgage process. The mission for Military Resource Radio is straightforward: CONNECT veterans and active duty service members with amazing resources and organizations to improve their lives, INSPIRE veterans, active duty service members and civilians alike to get involved with these amazing resources and organizations and ENLIGHTEN veterans, active duty service members and civilians alike on service related resources and benefits (like the real estate and mortgage market and process), as well as other current military news and events related to them…and have a little fun too. We speak about BBMC Mortgage’s Patriots Charity Initiative, and highlight other useful information for veterans and active duty service members that can be used to improve their lives…along with talking about – well…a little bit of everything! While Tony is not a veteran himself, he has many friends and family that are, and helping veterans and active duty service members - from coast to coast and around the world - is a personal passion of his.
In addition to his most recent turn as a successful radio broadcaster, Tony has been an effective leader in the mortgage business for about 13 years. Tony is a VA Home Loan Certified Loan Officer through VAHOME.org and has extensive experience with VA, FHA, Conventional and Non-Conforming Loans. He has now transitioned over to the management side with BBMC Mortgage and now specializes in hiring and supporting top producing, experienced mortgage originators to maximize their earning potential and attain their career goals.
Previously, he was a mortgage originator for about 11 years, doing residential mortgage loans in all 50 states, Washington, DC and the U.S. Virgin Islands. During that period of time, he closed more than 4,000 loans with total volume of well above $500 Million. The way he attained that level of business was priding himself on 24-Hour customer service to his clients, competitive pricing, and excellent knowledge of the residential mortgage lending environment.
Born and raised in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan, Tony is a graduate of Grosse Pointe South High School and Western Michigan University. In his spare time, Tony enjoys mountain biking, playing competitive basketball, squash and hockey, and traveling as much as possible.
Some of Tony’s favorite movies are “Casino”, “Step Brothers” and “It’s a Wonderful Life” and he immensely enjoys the television shows “House of Cards”, “Modern Family” and “VICE”.
Tony currently resides in West Bloomfield, MI with his girlfriend, Ashley.
