A GoFundMe page has twice now surpassed its goal and is quickly approaching a half-million dollars for disgraced fired FBI agent Peter Strzok.

The Hill reports the GoFundMe campaign was launched Monday after news broke that the FBI fired Strzok, who has been roundly criticized for sending disparaging text messages about President Trump during the 2016 campaign.

Strzok exchanged the messages with then-FBI lawyer Lisa Page, with whom he was having an affair.

He was also a key figure in the investigation into Hillary Clinton's email scandal.

As the campaign raised more than $250,000 in less than 24 hours, the goal was raised to $500,000.

At last check, it has brought in over $420,000.

On Twitter, Strzok thanked his supporters, writing on Twitter that he is “stunned and humbled.”
