News of Chick-fil-A expanding into Toronto raised the ire online by some LGBTQ supporters, who are calling via Twitter for a boycott of the food chain's future Canadian locations.

Fox News reports Chick-fil-A announced that the chain will open its first international location in the city in 2019, with plans to open 15 more restaurants through the next five years in the greater Toronto area.

That infuriated some LGBTQ supporters, who claimed that Chick-fil-A’s “homophobic” policies clash with the culture of the city.

Toronto has previously been named the third most LGBT-friendly city in the world.

Others were thrilled with the news, however, calling it “amazing” and “magical.”
