Amethyst is a Christian Metal band founded in Spokane WA in 1985. In The Beginning was written by Mark Fekete in 1986 and was played at all of Amethyst's early shows circa 1980's. It is a total power ballad with an awesome message. Be blessed as you listen with an open heart. This is a song that will appear on Mark's solo CD as well as the new Amethyst CD this fall!<br /><br />This is the version going on Mark Fekete's Solo project "Seasons Change".
