Tasha Cobbs Leonard - One Place

Listen to "One Place" by Tasha Cobbs Leonard.

Pat Barrett - Better Hands

Check out this stunning acoustic worship song. Pat Barrett - Better Hands.

Pat begins singing about how in his own strength, he falls short of God’s glory, but the Lord helps. The chorus is a wonderful reminder that we are fully dependent on the sovereignty of God. He is in control and worthy of our trust.

Pat reminds us that whatever we are going through and however we are trying to forge our own paths, the Lord has His best and knows what He is doing even when we do not understand.

We all have situations (or have had them before) where we do not comprehend the will of the Lord, but He sees us and knows better. When we think about taking our lives into our own hands, it’s easy to desire control. However, when we live open-handedly in surrender, it is a great place to be.

This worship song reminds us that Christ has better hands for us, and we are beautifully dependent on Him. He is trustworthy, and we are safe to fully rely on Him.

The bridge declares that God loves us more than anyone else. He sings out that he will not fear because the Lord is holding him. It is very easy to sing along and worship with Pat. He has such a spectacular voice. It is very singable, like a modern-day Chris Tomlin. I love how Pat is just praising the Lord in his jacket and ball cap.

The chorus sings:

This is in better hands
This is a better plan
This is in better hands than my own

Whatever we are going through, whatever we do not understand, we can trust in the faithful provisions of our Sovereign Lord. May this song minister to our hearts today.

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10

SANCTUARY Worship - Reasons

If we take a moment to think about all the reasons we have to praise the Lord, we will quickly create a list with a hundred different reasons.

Sometimes, our souls can’t help but cry out and praise the Lord. If you’re ready to worship God, you’ll love this victory song titled ‘Reason’ by Sanctuary Worship.

The song is a reprise of their four-minute-long version of ‘Reasons’ featuring Chris Lawson and Kenny Smith. The song begins with counting the many reasons God has given us to praise the Lord. They praise God for His neverending mercy and grace.

They include reasons like waking up in the morning, the breath in our lungs, and how we witness God’s fingerprints stamped on the world around us. The bridge of the song is where the reasons to praise God overflow to the point our souls overflow with joy.

Come on, we don’t need a song to give Him glory.
All you need is a memory. All you need is a memory.
When I think of the goodness of Jesus, and all He’s done.
My soul cries out, my soul cries out, my soul cries out.

Can I get an ‘Amen’?

If you’re in need of more reasons to praise God, let me remind you:

God is the King of kings. He is the Great I am. He is the Alpha and Omega. He is the Prince of peace and your Healer. The Lord rescues you from your enemies and delivers you from evil.

He comforts you in all your troubles and will give you an abundant harvest of love, mercy, grace, and joy. We are reminded of the command in Psalms 150, ‘Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.’  Let’s take a moment to cry out to God because no better way to beat the blues or remind ourselves of God’s faithfulness than to change our focus from self to God.

Psalm 107:1-2;7 “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story—those he redeemed from the hand of the foe. Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress.”

Stunning Performance Of Classic Hymn 'Abide With Me'

Check out this stunning performance from Nathan Pacheco of the classic hymn ‘Abide With Me.’

“Abide with me: fast falls the eventide; the darkness deepens; Lord, with me abide.
When other helpers fail, and comforts flee, help of the helpless, oh abide with me

Swift to its close ebbs out life's little day; earth's joys grow dim, its glories pass away.
Change and decay in all around I see, oh thou who changest not, abide with me”

What a wonderful music video! Nathan Pacheco, who is a classically trained tenor, sings the different parts in the hymn, and the blending of his harmonies sounds so lovely. And the scenery in the music video is also beautiful, with him singing the hymn while surrounded by so many candles.

The hymn ‘Abide With Me’ was written by Scottish Anglican cleric Henry Francis Lyte. The lyrics are a prayer for God to stay with the speaker throughout life and in death. It was written by Henry Lyte in 1847 as he was dying from tuberculosis. And it is most often sung to the tune ‘Eventide’ by English organist William Henry Monk.

When it comes to Nathan Pacheco, this talented singer, has a passion for reaching out and uplifting people through music. He has been featured globally in live performances, including touring the United States, Canada, and Mexico with Yanni; performing with Latin singing sensation Olga Tañon; touring England, Scotland, and Wales with Katherine Jenkins and the National Symphony Orchestra; performing for Prince Charles in conjunction with the British Forces Foundation and the USO; and performing with orchestras and symphonies around the US.

We hope that you enjoyed listening to Nathan Pacheco’s rendition of the hymn ‘Abide With Me’ today, and the music was able to uplift your spirits and bring you some joy.

'Only One Worthy' Jesus Culture And Chris Quilala Live Video

Listen to ‘Only One Worthy’ by Jesus Culture and Christ Quilala in this beautiful live worship video. I love being saturated in the Lord’s presence.

Most often, I find him in the midst of worship. It doesn’t matter if I’m at home, in the office, or in my car. There is something about calling upon the Lord in worship that refreshes the soul. Today’s worship video is no exception. Chris’ voice, accompanied by the Jesus Culture band, plunges us into the glorious depths of praising God.

“The first chords and words of the song capture your heart and posture it to sing just Christ is worthy.
Behold the risen Son of God, Who's face outshines a thousand suns.
With righteousness, He reigns in majesty a hundred years are not enough.
To scratch the surface of His love. Thank God we have eternity to sing.”

If God’s love were an ocean, we would know no bounds. His unconditional love is so deep for us it’s incomprehensible to us. The very idea of his love makes me hunger to get to know him more. I wonder if I will spend a lifetime unraveling all the facets of our mighty heavenly father.

God alone is worthy of all our praise because he is our Creator and Savior. We owe every breath to the One who has made us, and we have a new life, purchased by the blood of Christ because he gave his life for our own.

If you need a refreshing moment with God today, let this beautiful worship song usher you into his presence. May it uplift your soul and keep your faith steadfast. Lift up your voice and praise him!

“The Lord is God in heaven above and on the earth below. There is no other. Keep his decrees and commands . . . so that it may go well with you. . . “ Deuteronomy 4:39-40.

Listen to this powerful song and check out the official live video of ‘Faith For It’ by Jesus Culture and Derek Johnson.

“Mighty Mountain, get outta the way, wake oh sleeper, come out of that grave, hey believer
It’s time to walk on waves, by the power of Jesus name, if you’ve got faith for it, lift Him high
If you’ve got faith for it then testify, there‘s a miracle that's coming cause His promises are yes
If you've got faith for it, shout Amen, lowest Valley, you’re gonna be raised, Jericho stronghold”

This amazing song has a great message and reminds us that we can declare unwavering faith and trust in the power of Jesus' name. We can find victory over challenges and obstacles with Jesus on our side, and we can step out in faith because of God's miraculous works.

At the start of ‘Faith For It,’ the lyrics state a declaration to mountains and sleepers to move out of the way and come alive in the power of Jesus' name. Then the song goes on to reference biblical stories like the falling of Jericho's stronghold and the slaying of Goliath. These are all great reminders to us all of God’s faithfulness and power!

And seeing all of the people in the music video praising God together while singing out ‘Faith For It’ is another empowering way to be reminded of trusting God and His plans. 9-Year-Old Stands In Front Of Church And Sings ‘Rescue’ By Lauren Daigle

A young woman showed off her impressive pipes as she belted out a song by Lauren Daigle in a house of worship.

Many people have an immense, almost paralyzing fear of speaking and performing in public. The thought of messing up, flubbing a line or forgetting the lyrics to a song is too much for some people to bear. But 9-year-old Brittyn is not like most people.

A video posted on Facebook shows the young woman standing at the front of a church singing the track “Rescue” by popular Christian music artist Lauren Daigle.

The child who performs the song solo gives a stirring cover of the song with a positive and uplifting message about refusing to give up on someone. Additionally, the track is for anyone who has ever felt uncared for, alone or abandoned. As the Facebook post points out, the song is really for anyone who needs a little encouragement.

“I will send out an army to find you
In the middle of the darkest night
It’s true, I will rescue you
I will never stop marching to reach you”

The child’s voice is beautiful! Her voice is almost too good to be true. How is a voice that sounds like that coming from someone who is so young and inexperienced?

The caption accompanying the Facebook post indicates that the young woman has not received any musical training. That is stunning. Imagine what this child could sound like if she did receive proper coaching and mentoring.

Those sitting in the pews, who were treated to the dazzling performance, give the young woman a well-deserved round of applause at the conclusion of the song.

Since it was posted the video of the young lady’s impressive musical performance has been viewed approximately 1.6 million times. It’s also been Liked somewhere in the neighborhood of 26 thousand times.

Psalm 147:1 “Give praise to the Lord; for it is good to make melody to our God; praise is pleasing and beautiful.”
