Just Like Them Horses’ Reba McEntire Sings For Lost Loved Ones

Country music legend Reba McEntire gave a stunning and moving performance of “Just Like Horses,” a tear-jerking tune about losing a loved one.

Unfortunately, death and loss are a part of life, something that everyone goes through at one time or another. Losing a loved one is always a painful experience. It doesn’t matter what the circumstances surrounding the loss were - an expected passing or not - it will and does hurt regardless.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Reba McEntire perfectly and beautifully captures the heartbreaking process of being near a loved one’s side as they take their final breaths. The lyrics are so well-written and wonderfully delivered that it’s hard to keep from shedding a tear or two or three while listening.

“She held his hand, he took one last breath
Then she walked out to the front porch step
Stared at the sky, tears on her face
And she swore she could hear him say
If you love me, don’t be afraid”

It’s likely that most people have had a loved one who has endured suffering during their last days on Earth. It pains everyone to watch the individual struggle and hurt as they fight to stay alive. But it stings even more to know that they have passed, even if it means they are no longer suffering.

Thankfully, the Lord provides comfort, healing and strength during these painful and grief-stricken periods in life. Even in the valley of the shadow of death, He is still the same God. He remains on the throne, is still at work and never leaves nor forsakes us.

Also, while it may not lessen the pain now, we can rest assured that if the person who passed was a follower of Christ, there will be a reunion with them in heaven one day. Praise God because death is not the end!

Revelation 21:4 “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Come to Jesus Live and dont die!

sin leads to death. be forgiven in Jesus Christ!

‘Love Me Like I Am’ Jordin Sparks Joins For King And Country At Dove Awards

A trio of unbelievably talented singers, the duo For King & Country and Jordin Sparks, joined forces to give an emotional and inspiring performance of “Love Me Like I Am.”

The world is a sad, lonely and dangerous place full of fallen people. No one is perfect, for all are sinners and have fallen well short of the glory of God. There was and never will be anything human beings could do to reverse that fallen, sinful nature.

However, even though humans are a fallen and sinful group, God came up with a way to bridge the gap, the division caused by sin. He sent His one and only Son to die a painful, excruciating and undeserving death on the cross. Jesus Christ took our place, making the ultimate sacrifice.

In a clip posted on YouTube, former American Idol contestant Jordin Sparks joined the guys from King & Country to sing “Love Me Like I Am” about God’s magnificent love and grace. He’s somehow able to love us despite all our failures, flaws and imperfections.

“It’s amazing that You can
Love me like I am
And even when I can’t
You still love as I am”

People who are struggling, those who have been convicted of their sins and know they need to change their ways and turn their lives over to God, all seem to have a similar response. They often mention that they’ll come to God once they’ve cleaned up some and become slightly better people.

He doesn’t and wouldn’t want them as they currently are, they tend to think. But that couldn’t be further from the truth. His love is so powerful, so life-changing that He loves all like how they are, inviting sinners to turn to Him now, regardless of their current state.

There is nothing anyone could ever do to “deserve” God’s love, mercy and forgiveness. They are gifts He freely gives, forgiving all who confess their sins and turn from their ways.

Romans 5:8 “But God has made clear His love to us, in that, when we were still sinners, Christ gave His life for us.”

Psalm 30:4-5 “Sing praises to the LORD, O you his saints, and give thanks to his holy name. For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.”

Katharine McPhee And Michael Bolton Sing 'The Prayer' Duet

Listen to this mesmerizing performance by Katherine McPhee and Michael Bolton when they sing ‘The Prayer’ as a duet with her husband David Foster on the piano.

Can you imagine two well-known voices coming together to sing a song written about selfless love? Katharine had planned to sing alone when David invited Michael to stay and sing with his wife. In case you didn’t know, David actually wrote the song, ‘The Prayer’ for Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli to sing together.

I love the moment when Michael agreed and commented in a serious but teasing fashion that ‘The Prayer’ is one of the best-written songs of all time. Katharine came on stage in an elegant silver evening gown. She was poised and full of grace as she looked lovingly at her husband before she stood by Michael. As the rich piano tunes filled the air, the first lyrics of the song elegantly wafted into the air too.

“I pray you'll be our eyes, and watch us where we go
And help us to be wise, in times when we don't know
Let this be our prayer when we lose our way
Lead us to a place, guide us with your grace, to a place where we'll be safe”

What a stunning impromptu performance between these two. Michael, with his years of being a vocalist, harmonizes perfectly with Katharine’s ethereal voice creating a beautiful melody.

As the song came to an end, they hit the high notes in unison and carried the last note together. Katharine smiled and grabbed Michael’s hand to lead him off stage as David asked the crowd to give both Katharine and Michael a round of applause. It was well deserved.

What a lovely, rich performance. May this song bless you and warm your heart. And we hope that you enjoyed watching this video and listening to ‘The Prayer’ performed by Katharine McPhee, Michael Bolton, accompanied by David Foster.

1 John 5:14-15
“And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.”

‘Can We Make This Work’ Music From Journey To Bethlehem Film

Two of the main characters, Mary and Joseph, from the upcoming film “Journey to Bethlehem” gave a dazzling and awe-inspiring performance, singing a tune articulating the fear and confusion they must have had at the time.

Christmas Day and the surrounding season are celebrated and recognized for when Jesus Christ, the Savior, entered the world, born in a Bethlehem stable. A most joyous occasion indeed! But given the monumental, world-changing birth, it’s easy to forget the average, ordinary people God used in extraordinary ways.

God selected Mary, a virgin, a woman of little means and low stature in society, to give birth to His Son. He also picked Joseph to be Mary’s husband and to serve as Jesus’ earthly father. An angel of the Lord appeared to both individuals and informed them of God’s plan for them, trying to quell their fears.

Both were obviously willing servants of the Lord. But the amount of stress, anxiety, fear and uncertainty they were each experiencing throughout the entire ordeal must have been massive.

In a clip posted on YouTube, the two actors – Fiona Paloma and Milo Manheim - who play Mary and Joseph in “Journey to Bethlehem” sing “Can We Make This Work” about their fear and uncertainty.

“It’s hard to have faith
It’s hard to believe
Our future holds more
Than what we can see
We have to trust what we don’t understand”

The tune is a beautifully written and elegantly performed track, likely perfectly capturing the thoughts and feelings of the two regular, everyday people God used in an incredible way to bring monumental change to our fallen world.

Praise God that Mary and Joseph were willing and faithful servants. They put aside their trepidation and panic and placed their trust in God, listening to and believing that He would see them through the ordeal.

Matthew 1:20 “But when he thought on these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, ‘Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.”’

'Jesus Cries' Riley Clemmons Official Music Video

Listen to this wonderful new song called ‘Jesus Cries’ by Riley Clemmons.

“It’s no secret that life gets a little heavy sometimes, like it’s too much for one heart to take
Your smile’s wearing thin, just tryin’ to hold it all in, but it feels like the dam’s gonna break
You are not alone facing that flood behind your eyes, heaven already knows
Every tear that you cry, let ‘em fall like the rain, let ‘em roll down your face”

What a beautiful song, and the music video is also so heartfelt. In the video, Riley is seen sitting on a simple church pew in an empty space singing out the lyrics to ‘Jesus Cries.’

The song reminds us that we can bring our hardships and heaviness to Jesus, because he understands and can be with us in our sadness. We are never alone. He is with us always.

When it comes to Riley Clemmons and her musical background, this 22-year-old artist from Nashville, TN has already accumulated over 210 million global streams and 50 million YouTube video views since the beginning of her almost decade long career. We hope you enjoyed listening to ‘Jesus Cries’ by Riley Clemmons today and the song was able to bring you some encouragement.

Deuteronomy 31:8
It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.

Jennifer Hudson And Pentatonix Perform ‘How Great Thou Art’

Some of the biggest names in music – Jennifer Hudson and Pentatonix – joined forces and gave a stunning and emotional performance of the classic hymn “How Great Thou Art.”

There are some tunes, regardless of how much they are played and heard, that never get old. Those special tracks never lose meaning or significance and always remain near and dear to our hearts. It might be because of beautiful, well-written lyrics or a cherished memory attached to a specific song.

Hymns are classic pieces of music that mean a lot to many people. Songs like “Amazing Grace,” “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” and “Blessed Assurance” are just a few of these classic church hymns that are still played in church.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Jennifer Hudson and Pentatonix perform another of those masterfully written hymns, “How Great Thou Art.”

The video is of a segment from The Jennifer Hudson Show in which the a cappella group Pentatonix were her guests. Jennifer mentions she was on one of their albums and starts to reminisce about a time when she performed with the group, saying how much she enjoyed it. She called it “one of her favorite holiday memories.”

Jennifer then asks the group if they can recreate the moment and sing a little of “How Great Thou Art” together. They happily agree to Jennifer’s request, which sends the studio audience into a frenzy.

Then, in just a matter of moments, the studio audience and those watching at home are treated to a delightful performance of the beloved hymn telling of the Lord’s awe-inspiring and powerful mercy, love and grace.

“Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee
How great Thou art, how great Thou art
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee
How great Thou art, how great Thou art”

What a terrific rendition from several talented and gifted performers!

Isaiah 40:28 “Have you no knowledge of it? Has it not come to your ears? The eternal God, the Lord, the Maker of the ends of the earth, is never feeble or tired; there is no searching out of his wisdom.”

‘God Be The Glory’ We Are Messengers Official Music Video

A popular Christian band, We Are Messengers, gave an emotionally stirring performance of a beautiful tune about the faithfulness and goodness of God.

Life is an unpredictable ride, filled with potholes, speed bumps and many detours. Those different routes and exits often take us to destinations we never imagined or envisioned. Sometimes it’s a pleasant surprise and others it’s not so much. But regardless of where we go or how we get there, God will be there the entire journey.

The good Lord above is always guiding, protecting and directing. He will never leave nor forsake us. For His constant care, watch and love, He deserves all honor, glory and praise.

In their official music video posted on YouTube, the band, We Are Messengers, sings “God Be the Glory.” It’s a wonderfully written tune praising and thanking God, an ever-faithful, protecting and guiding presence in our lives.

“God, You’re still good to me
When my hope is all but gone
And I’m barely hanging on
God, You’re still good to me”

Most people have found themselves in a position in which whatever decision or choice they make, it’s the wrong or losing one. There may seem to be no way out of a predicament. But God, because of His faithfulness and love, always comes through and makes a way when one appears impossible.

For that, He truly does deserve all our praise and worship, even though that could never ever be enough.

God, as the song points out, is always loving and quick to forgive. He loves us when we’re on the highest mountaintop, experiencing happiness and joy. But, even more amazing, He loves us just the same when we’re struggling and in the valley. His love and faithfulness do not change depending on the circumstances of life.

God be the glory, indeed!

Deuteronomy 7:9 “Know therefore that the Lord your God, he is God, the faithful God, which keeps covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;”

Liv Harland Sings ‘Oceans (Spirit Lead Me)’ In Empty Cathedral

An immensely talented musician, Liv Harland, gives a moving and powerful rendition of a popular tune from Hillsong UNITED, performing in a beautiful, awe-inspiring location.

Most people enjoy and appreciate knowing what to expect in any given situation. Planning and anticipating are the best ways to combat and strategize against the unknown. However, that’s not how life often works. Instead, things – good and bad - can crop up out of nowhere, leading to confusion and the testing and stretching of our faith.

In a clip posted on YouTube, singer Liv Harland belts out the lyrics to the song “Oceans (Spirit Lead Me),” a tune about fully trusting in the Lord’s guidance and direction when the outcome is more than a little murky. The track accurately describes situations everyone has found themselves in at one time or another. The lyrics also correctly point out the feelings of fear, angst and unease that so often accompany those times.

From the opening seconds of the video, it’s clear that Liv possesses an abundance of musical talent. Her voice is beautiful, wonderfully singing out the lyrics about having faith in God during a period of extreme uncertainty.

“Your grace abounds in the deepest waters
Your sovereign hand will be my guide
Where feet mail fail and fear surrounds me
You’ve never failed and You won’t start now”

During these periods, when the present situation and what lies ahead is unclear, simply call out the Lord’s name, as the lyrics mention. He is faithful, having never let us down up until this point. He will be there to provide help, healing, comfort and guidance.

The stretching and testing of our faith is never ever fun. In fact, it’s often painful. But those circumstances can draw us closer to Him, forcing us to rely upon Him more and more because sometimes that is all we can do.

Joshua 1:9 “Have I not given you your orders? Take heart and be strong; have no fear and do not be troubled: for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Voices Of Liberty Perform ‘Battle Hymn Of The Republic’ At Disney World

A group of talented vocalists at Disney’s EPCOT demonstrated their awe-inspiring gifts with a touching performance of a patriotic, Civil War-era tune, the “Battle Hymn of the Republic.”

Anyone who has visited Disney World in Central Florida is more than familiar with EPCOT. Of the four Disney theme parks in the Sunshine State, EPCOT is geared more toward giving its visitors an educational experience.

The park’s attractions revolve around facts about space, the history of communication and agriculture. Additionally, an entire section of EPCOT is dedicated to several countries around the world, immersing parkgoers in the history and culture of a particular country. One of those countries found in the World Showcase section of EPCOT is the United States of America, which informs about the history of the US.

In a clip posted on YouTube, “Voices of Liberty,” an a cappella group at EPCOT,  gives a touching, moving and beautiful rendition of “Battle Hymn of the Republic.” Before their performance, one of the group’s members provides listeners with some background information on how the Civil War-era song came to be, which included $4, a poem and President Abraham Lincoln.

“Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord
He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored
He have loosed the fateful lightening of His terrible swift sword
His truth is marching on”

The amount and level of talent involved in this cover is staggering. There is not a false or missed note from any of the vocalists. In fact, their voices reach for and hit impressively high notes throughout the performance. Those are, without a doubt, several world-class voices who help to comprise The Voices of Liberty.

By the end of their captivating and emotional performance, the crowd showed their love and appreciation by giving the vocalists a well-deserved and thunderous round of applause.

Galatians 5:1 “Stand fast therefore in the liberty with which Christ has made us free, and be not entangled with the yoke of bondage.”

‘God On The Mountain’ Jason Crabb Worship Performance

A talented musician gave an inspiring and moving performance as he sang a beloved tune, reminding Christians of God's faithfulness, love and mercy.

Life is a relatively easy and enjoyable experience when everything is going well and according to plan. Whenever troubles and worries are minimal and the stress of everyday living remains at a manageable level, life is pleasant. But then there are instances when that’s not the case. There are times when our faith is stretched and tested. Those instances are painful and experiences everyone would rather avoid if possible.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Jason Crabb sings “God on the Mountain.” It’s a song that reminds Christians that the Lord remains the same during those uncertain and painful periods of life. He is still in control, always working and ever faithful. The lyrics remind followers of Jesus Christ that He will never leave nor forsake us.

“For the God on the mountain
Is still God in the valley
When things go wrong
He’ll make them right”

At the end of his performance, the entire room claps and applauds, showing their appreciation for Jason’s display of his God-given talent. Some in the room are even moved to tears, with the camera catching a few wiping their eyes. However, it’s also very likely that they are showing their complete and total agreement with the song’s message.

While in the middle of a battle or a struggle, this idea of the faithfulness of God can be difficult to remember, but it is true. There will be times when our faith is tested and pushed to its limits. But this tune is an excellent reminder that God is a loving and always faithful Lord. He has never let us down. He has never given us any reason to believe He will start now.

Deuteronomy 7:9 “Know therefore that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God, which keeps covenant and mercy with them that love Him and keep His commandments to a thousand generations;”

A Cappella Voices Of Voctave Sing ‘We Need A Little Christmas’

A group of immensely gifted musicians put their vocal talents on full display with a festive, upbeat and uber-catchy rendition of a Christmas tune beloved by many.

Every Christmas season comes with its annual traditions and activities. Most will conclude that it’s just not Christmastime unless and until those annual holiday requirements and obligations are fulfilled. That even holds true for some when it comes to hearing a favorite Christmas song. It’s not Christmas until a specific and classic Christmas song is heard, the thinking goes.

Everyone has a specific Christmas song near and dear to their heart. Typically, it’s one that is not only catchy and upbeat but also has a special memory or feeling attached to it. Likely one of those festive Christmas songs that is a favorite of many is “We Need a Little Christmas.”

In a clip posted on YouTube, the super-talented a cappella group Voctave provides listeners with their cheerful and beautiful rendition of the Christmas hit.

“For we need a little Christmas, right this very minute
Candies in the window, carols at the spinet
Yes, we need a little Christmas, right this very minute
Hasn’t snowed a single flurry, but Santa dear, we’re in a hurry”

Voctave’s cover is fantastic, hitting all the right notes at just the right time. Their superb rendition, which is sure to get even the biggest of Scrooges in the Christmas spirit, wholly deserves more than a handful of listens.

Not only is the group’s performance of the holiday favorite excellent, but their choice of clothing also hits the mark. Everyone in the group dons a sweater that could compete in and may even win any ugly Christmas sweater contest.

Despite their bad and hard-to-look-at sweaters, Voctave’s cover of “We Need a Little Christmas” could become a Christmas classic, one that listeners turn to every year for some holiday cheer and enjoyment.
